Objective:
Dribble the ball up and down the court to earn a point. Careful, the defender will try to steal the ball from you. First player to reach 15 points wins!
What You Need:
Basketball court, basketball, 2 players
How to Play:
- Select who will be the dribbler and the defender.
- The dribbler will attempt to dribble the ball from one end of the court to the other without losing it.
- If successful, the dribbler earns one point.
- The defender can force a turnover by stealing the ball or causing the dribbler to double dribble, travel, or lose the ball.
- After each turnover, the players switch positions.
- The first player to earn 15 points wins the game.
- Double Dribble—when a player dribbles the ball after stopping the original dribble or dribbles the ball with both hands
- Travel—when a player with the ball takes too many steps or moves both feet without dribbling
